One night, i was bored and surfing the net when i came across your page (I don't know how). But, anyway i made it, and found your page amazing! I spent last night reading your site and then dreaming of all the things that i had read. It was invigorating, it was something new yet something familiar. The more i read the more i started to learn and to have respect for your travels. I'm very proud of you for making it thus far. I'm from Maine, USA. Originally from Maryland. My marriage lasted for about 10 years and i've been drifting from one state to the other with no real destination in mind. For the past two year I've been with a girl and her kids. But, yet still moving from state to state and place to place.. Now having someone to be with, it's not so lonely. For me it seems like nothing is set and worth making a foundation for. It's like there is something inside me that i know i'm not done yet. I live in a "Trailer Park" But, the life here is just like you mentioned. Everyone here is forced here by space. Uncommon interests and barely a nod or a hey from your flatmates. Anyway, I'm not really sure where im going or what im doing. I was thinking about truck driving.. that way i'll have a place to stay and travel. But, is that enough? Is that the only.."last" resort? I've always thought to myself what if there was a place that people could live without having to conform to the rules or regulations of a business ran community,(Garden hoses have to be coiled clockwise or we find you 100$ per violation) or living on the grid (Mostly). My question for you Nicolette; How did the process happen? For you to get From USA to Germany, I understand why you went for the House Sitting job and after a year just stayed. I don't know i was reading your posts and really thought that i could do this. I could go and build a foundation in a different "World" if you know what i mean. I'm assuming the first step was to get your passport. How much in general US $ did it take to get to germany. It's kinda scary thinking of going to a new place and having no body that you know to help. However, i've done that before. Right after the divorce. I was homeless for a year, over in Oregon USA. After she left i went over there to be homeless, because i knew that being homeless in Maryland was not going to work out. Nun-the-less, I just wanted more information about what steps to prepair for and where would be the destination i would want to check out to go and to be able to humbly ask for residency and to start a new life. Oh, and did you know German before you went? Or, did you learn it as you went on? I would think it helps to know the local speach. So, to end this i would like to think that your still around and your doing good. Did you have your baby girl yet? And, i'm hoping for any direct information you can give me on this subject.

Thank you so much,
Merry meet and merry part. <3

P.S.
